God Box Jar Paint Cobblestone Cottages Decorative Faux Painting A God Box can be made from anything. It is used to symbolize your giving to God a challenge or pain for which you cannot seem to left go.

I create special jars for this. They say in raided lettering on the side,

LET GOD.

One way I have found peace with seemingly insurmountable problems is to LET GO AND LET GOD. Sometimes, when my mind still hangs onto the problem after I have tried to let go, I find that by defining the problem on a slip of paper and securing it away, with a pray, in a God Box, I am better able to allow the Master to take control.

You can make your own God Box Jar, or just use an old box. I am delighted to make a Cobblestone God Box Jar for you. Although they do take more time than the normal Cobblestone Cottage jar, I will make one for you at the same price. See the order form. Specify if you want the God Box Jar, rather than the jar with windows.

My prayers and love go into every God Box Jar I paint for you.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding.
In all yours ways acknowledge Him, and He shall make your paths straight.
- Proverbs 3:5-6

I found the idea of a God Box by attending a free program called Al-anon. Al-anon is for the families of those who have pain with difficult family members, especially if there has been a problem with drugs or alcoholism, even several generations back. I found a great deal of peace and serenity there. For more on this free program see http://www.al-anon.org
